About PDF to PowerPoint
PDF to PowerPoint imports each PDF page as a slide with LibreOffice Impress. Text and shapes become separate objects you can move, restyle or delete.
For reusing slides you only have as a PDF handout.
What it does
- One slide per page
- Text stays editable
- Images carried across

- Upload a PDF.
- Select Convert to PowerPoint.
- Download the PPTX and tidy any text boxes.
Frequently asked questions
Will animations come back?
No. PDFs do not store animations or speaker notes, so there is nothing to restore.
Why is each line a separate text box?
PDFs store lines of positioned text, and the importer keeps those positions exactly.
Limits and privacy
Marked as partially implemented: text is split into positioned boxes, slide masters and animations cannot be recovered. In-browser fallback: each page becomes a full-slide picture, so slide text is not editable.
