About PDF Editor
PDF Editor lets you write on any PDF and change what it shows: type new text, highlight important lines, draw boxes and freehand marks, add a logo or photo, cover old details with white-out and remove pages you do not need. Your edits are added on top of the original document, so its own text, fonts and links stay exactly as they were.
Useful for filling in forms that were never made fillable, correcting a date or name before sending, marking up a contract or assignment for review, or adding a stamp or logo to a letter.

Frequently asked questions
Can I change the text that is already in the PDF?
You can cover existing text with white-out and type the new wording on top, which gives the same look. Editing the original text itself is not possible in the browser, because PDFs store text as positioned glyphs rather than editable paragraphs.
Is my document uploaded to your server?
No. The PDF Editor runs entirely in your browser. The file is opened, edited and saved on your own device and never leaves it.
Does white-out remove the hidden text?
No. White-out only covers content visually; the original text is still inside the file and can be copied. To remove sensitive information permanently, use PDF Redaction.
Can I type in Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa or other languages?
Yes. Text in the Latin alphabet is saved as real PDF text. Letters outside the standard PDF font, such as dotted Yoruba vowels, Arabic script or emoji, are saved as a sharp image of your text so they always display correctly.
Can I edit a password-protected PDF?
Unlock it first with the Unlock PDF tool, using the password you already have, then open the unlocked copy here.
Limits and privacy
Works best on a computer or tablet for detailed edits. Existing text cannot be retyped in place (cover it with white-out instead). Very large PDFs depend on your device memory; the maximum size is shown on the upload area.
Everything happens on your device, so your content never reaches our server.
