This Privacy Policy explains how metaSEO handles information when you use our website, https://metaseo.online, and our Android application.

1. Information We Process

Depending on the tool you use, metaSEO may process text, images, documents, and other content you choose to enter or select. This information is used to provide the requested function, such as text editing, image resizing, file conversion, or document processing.

Processing and storage: Content processed by metaSEO is handled only as necessary to provide the feature you select. Where processing can be completed on your device, the content remains on your device. If a feature requires server-side processing, the selected content may be securely transmitted to our service providers for processing. Uploaded content is not retained longer than necessary to provide the requested service and is deleted after processing is complete, unless a longer retention period is required for security, legal, or technical reasons.

When you contact us, we receive the information you provide, such as your name, email address, and message.

Our website hosting provider may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser type, request times, device information, and error logs to operate, maintain, and protect the website.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide the tools and functions you request.
  • Respond to support enquiries.
  • Maintain security and prevent misuse.
  • Investigate errors and improve reliability.

3. App Permissions

Some features may request permission to access files, photos, the camera, or the microphone. Permissions are requested only when needed for the feature you choose.

metaSEO may request access to files or photos so that you can select, edit, convert, resize, or save content. Camera access may be requested for features that allow you to capture images or documents. Microphone access may be requested only if a voice-input feature is available. We do not access these resources unless you grant permission and use a feature that requires them.

If voice input is enabled, audio may be sent to the speech-recognition service provided by Google or another integrated provider to convert speech into text. Audio is processed according to that provider’s privacy policy and is not retained by metaSEO longer than necessary to provide the requested feature.

You can manage permissions through your device settings. Disabling a permission may prevent the related feature from working.

4. Advertising, Analytics, and Cookies

metaSEO may use Google AdMob to display advertisements in the application and Google AdSense to display advertisements on the website. We may also use Google Analytics or similar services to understand website and app usage, diagnose technical problems, and improve our services.

These services may process information such as IP addresses, device identifiers, browser or device information, advertising interactions, approximate location, usage information, and diagnostic information. Advertising providers may use cookies, mobile advertising identifiers, or similar technologies to deliver, personalise, limit, and measure advertisements, subject to applicable law and your consent where required.

  • Google AdMob: May process advertising identifiers, device information, IP addresses, and advertising interactions when advertisements are displayed in the application.
  • Google Analytics or similar analytics providers: May process usage, device, diagnostic, and technical information to help us understand and improve the service.
  • Email providers: May process your email address and message when you contact us.
  • Speech-recognition providers: May process audio or voice input when you use a voice-input feature.

We may also disclose information where required by law or necessary to protect users, prevent fraud, investigate security incidents, or maintain the security and integrity of our services.

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Retention and Deletion

Uploaded files: Uploaded files are retained only for the time necessary to provide the requested processing service and are normally deleted after processing is complete. Files saved or exported to your device remain there until you delete them.

Technical logs: Technical and security logs may be retained for up to 12 months, or longer where necessary to investigate security incidents, prevent abuse, or comply with legal obligations.

Support messages: Support messages and related correspondence may be retained for up to 24 months after the support request is resolved, unless a longer period is required for legal, security, or dispute-resolution purposes.

For content stored on your device, use the relevant delete function or device storage settings. Files you export may remain in your downloads or other chosen folders until you delete them.

To request deletion of information held by us, contact contact@metaseo.online. We may need to verify your identity before completing a deletion request.

metaSEO does not currently require users to create accounts. If account functionality is introduced in the future, this policy will be updated to explain the available account-deletion process.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect information, including HTTPS encryption for information transmitted to our website and services, access controls, limited administrative access, and measures designed to prevent unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

No internet transmission or electronic storage method can guarantee complete security. You should avoid submitting sensitive personal information unless it is necessary to use the requested feature.

8. Your Privacy Choices

You can manage app permissions through your device settings and use available cookie or advertising-consent controls.

You may also choose not to provide optional information, decline permissions, disable personalised advertising, or stop using a feature. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, object to certain processing, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

9. Children’s Privacy

metaSEO is intended for a general audience and is not directed specifically to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without appropriate parental consent.

If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact contact@metaseo.online. We will take reasonable steps to investigate and delete the information where required.

If the app’s target audience or features change, this section will be updated to match the information declared in Google Play Console.

10. External Websites

Some tools may link to other websites or services. Their privacy policies govern information you provide directly to those websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or security of external websites.

We may update this policy when our services, features, or data practices change. The latest version will appear on this page with an updated date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
