About Password Generator
Password Generator creates passwords in your browser using the Web Crypto API (crypto.getRandomValues) with unbiased selection, so every character is equally likely. Passwords are never sent to our server or to analytics.

Frequently asked questions
Are the passwords stored anywhere?
No. They exist only in this browser tab until you close or regenerate them.
How is strength measured?
By entropy: length multiplied by the bits per character of the chosen set. Above 80 bits is strong for most uses.
Limits and privacy
Requires a browser with Web Crypto (all current browsers).
