About Compress PDF
Compress PDF rewrites your document with Ghostscript, downsampling large images and subsetting fonts so the file gets smaller while staying readable. The result tells you the size before and after.
Built for email attachment limits, upload portals with size caps, and scanned documents that are much larger than they need to be.
What it does

Frequently asked questions
How much smaller will my PDF get?
It depends on the content. Scans and photo-heavy files often shrink a lot; text-only PDFs are usually already small and may barely change.
Does compression remove text?
No. Text stays as text. Only images are resampled, and fonts are subset to the characters actually used.
