About HTML to PDF

HTML to PDF converts an uploaded HTML file into a paginated PDF. For your safety and ours, scripts, frames, forms and every external resource are stripped before conversion, so only the file you upload is used.

For saving exported reports, email templates or simple documentation pages as PDF.

What it does

  • Headings, lists, tables and inline styles are kept
  • Embedded data-URI images are kept
  • No remote fetching of any kind

How to use HTML to PDF

  1. Upload an .html file.
  2. Select Convert to PDF.
  3. Download the PDF.

Frequently asked questions

Can I convert a web page by URL?

No. Fetching arbitrary URLs from the server is a security risk, so only uploaded files are accepted. Save the page as HTML first.

Why are my images missing?

Images linked from other addresses are removed. Embed them as data URIs to keep them.

Limits and privacy

Rendering uses LibreOffice Writer/Web, not a browser engine: modern CSS layout (flexbox, grid) and JavaScript are not supported. External stylesheets and images are removed. In-browser fallback: pages become images (text not selectable); external images, scripts and stylesheets are never loaded.

Everything happens on your device, so your content never reaches our server.

Processing speed depends on your device. Files up to 100 MB are supported; very large documents work best on a computer.
