Formula
Paid minutes = finish − start + next-day offset − unpaid break. Paid hours = paid minutes ÷ 60.
Example
20:00 to 08:00 next day with a 30-minute break gives 11.5 paid hours.
Assumptions and limits
Times are local clock times. Daylight saving changes are excluded. A next-day finish explicitly adds 24 hours.
